RFICS is a Roll-On / Roll-Off platform that was developed for use onboard the Navy’s P-3C Orion aircraft with the full-band RFICS and now flies onboard the Navy’s P-8A Poseidon aircraft with the updated Quad RFICS. It supports recording and playback of the entire sonobuoy radio frequency band. The platform is a COTS PC-based architecture that allows for high performance at a low cost.
