Ron Hidde joined SDi in 2021 through the RDA acquisition.  Ron is a 20-year U.S. Navy aviation veteran who served as an aircraft maintenance technician, P-3C Flight Engineer, and Maintenance Control Chief, leading aircraft readiness, quality assurance, and complex systems operations. He now serves as Senior Manager of Programs and Mission Operations, supporting Government Integrated Product Teams with program management, avionics engineering, technology development, test planning, and flight operations for the Boeing P-8A Poseidon and its Acoustic Mission Systems.

He also serves as Principal Investigator for the Expeditionary Compact Autonomous Acoustic Processor (EXCAAP) project for the USMC MV-22B Osprey sponsored by the Office of Naval Research.

 

Ron holds a B.S. from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a M.S. from Johns Hopkins University. A Wisconsin native, he lives in St. Inigoes, Maryland, and enjoys biking and boating on the Chesapeake Bay with family and friends.
